Guests can expect to learn the ways food was grown, prepared, stored and served both as a nexus and was central to the Black activism and Civil Rights struggle. “To connect to the history inside us, perhaps there’s no better way than to learn about the history of what we ingest. Eating together is core to the human experience and speaks to the story of people, places, times, and change.”
