Tufts University of Medford, Ma is hosting new African American Freedom Trail Archive discovery.

African American Freedom Trail Symposium breaks open new archive housed at Tufts University in Medford Ma. The project was inspired by the late Tufts Professor Gerald R. Gill ( 1949-2007) on civil rights and the history of Black Boston and driven by faculty and student research.

The project maps African American public history sites, while developing collaborative community-based public history access across greater Boston.
